| Yes this is probably VERY Nooby on my part, but I want to say it anyway: I have been "intermittently" lagging out/disconnecting lately ...OR SO I THOUGHT. Turns out I use the MS default button Alt to Jump, Ctrl for Savage Blow and recently started using Delete as my main HP Pot button. All this ever since I started doing Zakum Runs a couple months ago. I NEVER realized what I was setting myself up to do (which is MY WARNING to you): Ctrl+Alt+Delete(ing) myself out of MapleStory with Task Manager. | |

| lolz glad you finally figured it out. i happened to use "shift" as my main attack key and was often returned to the desktop with the window about sticky keys so watch out for that one too, altho in case of sticky keys it can be turned off. | |

| I use Shift and Space for my main attack skills, but leave ctrl and alt as defaulf. I've encountered the same problem as Jeremy has, except when I got my laptop, the Delete key was out of reach for potions, so now I just put my chair on it, which is what I've seen a lot of people doing. It prevents the problem, unless you're trying to do the chair jump and you accidentally press ctrl...>_> | |

| I have
Control - Green Chair Alt - Blue Chair Delete - Soul Arrow
I'd never thought of pressing all those but it would never happen with the way I have it.
PS. I can't have shift be a key I press too much. Cause after i press it so many times in a row I get some weird windows error.

| Just so everyone know, sticky keys can be turned off so that the message doesnt come on. ive always used shift for double arrow, had that problem. you just, on normal desktop, hold shift or press 5 times or w/e to get the menu up, and select so that the message doesnt comeup. |

| HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, WHAT A NOOB At least you figured out what the problem was! I never would have thought of that since Delete is my HP Pot button and I swapped CTRL and ALT from default. Shift is my Chair, so I dont really have a problem with the little message that pops up (handicap assistance thingy...You have pressed the Shift key 5 times.......) | |

| Looking at some of your keyboard layouts...the seem so alien to me. I don't think I could EVER play with the way your keyboards are (unless I was on a normal PC instead of a laptop). Although...come to think of it, my fingers are long and thin and quite flexible, which allows me to reach keys that would be a bother to most other players. Hmm...we should post screenies of our keyboars layouts some time. | |

Cool idea David. Well I switched my HP Pot button to "Insert" which is right above Delete. Yeah, its risky, but I'm too used to my current layout - I tried switching around my Ctrl and Shift keys, but didnt like that too much (along with Z,X,C). (pffft, I'll probably do the same thing trying to hit Insert in a panick) I might feel saucy enough to actually move things around and try to get used to a different layout, but as it stands I'm not down for radical layout changes especially after a year of playing :
