| Greetings Maplers, While evaluating game, character and item balance we came across an issue regarding the Horntail Necklace. As designed, the Dragon Stone should only be applied to the Horntail Necklace once. Unfortunately, the Vicious Hammer introduced an item balancing issue regarding its ability to upgrade the necklace multiple times. We examined this issue and decided to disable Vicious Hammer’s ability to upgrade the Horntail Necklace. Unfortunately, our records indicate that some players have already invested time, money, and energy into upgrading their Horntail Necklaces. For the sake of game balance and equality, we have reset these Necklaces to the level and strength they were originally intended to be. Players affected by this will have compensation placed on their account. An additional compensation will be provided in recognition of the time players invested doing this. This will be provided during next week’s patch. We appreciate your taking the time to read this, as well as your understanding regarding this situation. | they didn't announce it was a glitch until a month later. By that time many ppl already spent alot of time, effort, and money in getting a +3 pendants. How should ppl know ht pendants were only suppose to only be scrolled with an egg once since they allow ppl to redo quest. It wasnt officially a glitch until they announced it so ppl that got +3 pendants earlier weren't exploiting anything... | |

| First if scrolling 3 eggs is bannedable, then should HP wash be bannedable aslso ? Second, why would Nexon ban ppl while they got so much income out of it?

| they didn't ban anyone for this matter. in this particular bug they realize it's their fault, hence the compensation. | |

| I'm curious to see what kind of comp they'll be giving. If it's anything like the guild hack comp, I wouldn't be too excited...
