Is anyone else really excited about Super Smash Bros. Brawl? I've been watching the main site, and youtube for weeks for info, and it looks amazing. The final roster is a little small, but still, it'll take up a good chunk of my life. I've already pre-ordered, and I can barly contrain my excitment. Anyone else in the same boat as me?

I am, but my roomate is more so. He was so pissed when they delayed it again the last time lol. Anyways, I can't wait to be able to use Samus at her fullest potential. ^^ Yes, I may be a guy, but come on...Samus ROCKS!!!

Lot of yelling on the game forums about the delay. Hope this is the last delay. Anymore and they'll be a riot.

I agree on that, but I don't think that there will be anymore delays on the release. SSBB was recently released into Japan. So, I'm sure that there wouldn't be any reason to delay it anymore...Unless, of course, they don't make enough for the demand of the day of its release. Which will be like a tidal wave as soon as the doors open at any store selling it lol.

I recently heard some gamestop stores are having a midnight release for it. In addition, it's rumored that gamestop alone has had over 4 million pre-orders in North America.

Yeah, I know pretty much everything about the game already. I've been checking in on the offical website a lot. They reveal one new thing everyday, except on weekends. I'm sure you know what it is, but the site is: www.smashbros.com .

Anyways, I'm also going to love messing around with the stage builder. Conveyers, Spikes, Windmills, etc. They did not skimp out on it. I already have several ideas in mind. Mwahahaha!

Okay. The "Forbidden 7" is the name given to 7 characters who have data on the Brawl disk, but arn't included in the game. The seven are Roy, Dr. Mario, Mewtwo, Dixie Kong, Toon Zelda, Toon Sheik and Plusle & Minun. Someone ripped the files from the game, and found folders for these characters.

Rumor is, Mewtwo and Roy are nearly complete files, while the others are only partials. This leads many to believe that, at the very least, Roy and Mewtwo will be available on the American release and as Downloadable content for the Japanise game. Now, it's unknown what, if anything will come of this, but it's worth keeping an eye on.

lol Nintendo Power reviewd SSBB and they gave it a perfect 10...

That's nothing. Famitsu, one of the strictest and most notorious game reviewers, gave it a perfect score, and since they first started reviewing in 1986, only 7 game have gotten a perfect score (Brawl is included in that number).

Wait...I just read that Famitsu gave FF-XII A PERFECT SCORE! Is that true? o.o Cause I thought FF-XII was one of the biggest disapointments...

Yes, FF XII was one of seven. In terms of sound, presentation, graphics and story, it was a very well made game, it was just a far departure from the normal FF formula. The story was much more political and deep than the standard "You're the Hero, go kill the bad guy and save the world".The same thing will probelly happen to FF Versus XIII . It's a very different style of game from all other FF games (Resembling Kingdom Hearts more than FF, and being very, very dark). yet it'll probelly be a incredibly well made game.

As with any reviews, some will agee, some will not, but Famitsu's reviews hold the greatest weight when it comes to what's taken seriously. I agree with them, I think it was a great game (GO GILGAMESH!!).

Final Fantasy 12 was pretty good. Although, I haven't finished it yet. Got bored after a while. Was just trying to do a few of the hunts and sidequests available before moving on in the story, but I lost interest and started playing other games.

Anyways, let's try to keep the subject from changing here. SSBB is coming out in about 2.5 weeks and it's going to be sweet lol.

As those "Forbidden 7", my guess is that they are unfinished characters that they couldn't finish on time, and are going to release them as downloadable characters eventually. But, honestly, I would never have expected Dixie, Toon Zelda/Sheik, or Plusle/Minun.

I have actually been watching SSBB for almost a year now
(I found a site that game info on the game a long time ago)

But I have been waiting for so long XD

I said the trailer wasn't for the youth ( -13) because there was the neck snapping scene (And sound ) as well as the stabbing/ blood splatter.

Now, back to Brawl. Hizaki is right, the general understanding is Mewtwo and Roy will be in the American release, and the others will be downloadable at some future point. The only problem is that the character data would be greater than the Wii's internal memory, so if it's done in the future, it would have to be saved to a SD card. One thing I forgot to mention before, the file on Toon Sheik suggested it might have been Tetra and Toon Zelda, rather than Sheik, but no one has been able to properly read it, since the data is incomplete.

Wow... I've been watching some gameplay on youtube and the characters have INSANE recovery moves. I already know who I'm gonna use (BTW people try to guess :D)

In terms of recovery, Pit and Luigi are the kings, so I'm gonna guess Luigi, for his recovery (4 recovery moves that can be used in a row) and Final Smash.

Nope, but I do have a good friend who plays with Luigi and he pwns me D: i did beat him once though..
