| Okay... first off... WHAT THE F*** HAPPEND... I went to basil and noticed people were complaining about losing levels/money/exp/items... I was like okay, how did that happen... I went to the Nexon site to check the rankings... When I looked up kat (looked for KanisFlower and Katunie) I found nothing... Please tell me what just happend P.S. | Well when I logged on, I found that I had gone back to level 43. I think Nexon messed with our levels, I hear someone lost 10 mil and 4 levels. COMPLAIN TO NEXON! | |

| Many people lost mesos/levels/items/exp/nx (gotrice lost 5k nx, a level, and 8 mil, I believe, and Marie lost 2 levels and 6 mil; Kat also lost 25mil on KanisFlower.) What I heard hapened was most or all of the players got a rollback so their character is how it was 2 days ago. I didn't notice anything major at all, but I've not accomplished anything but making pies these past few days, so no surprises there. I would suggest people who lost levels NOT level up until the problem is fixed. That could make it more difficut and/or sp you lost will be replaced, and then you end up with more sp in a skill than you want. |

| Let's see...lost a level plus the 10mil that I had made from the damn Alphonse Green quest for Bone Helm plus 10% LUK scroll for Overall Armor.... to say that I was upset would be an understatement. I OPQed and got my level back up to normal but there's no telling whats going to happen about the lost mesos.
I wouldn't be so upset if it weren't for the fact that it took SO FREAKING LONG to get the Bone Helm for that quest. Sigh.

| Well, I lost 2 lvls and 6 mil! So I was really annoyed! :x
It took me a while to level up twice! I just want those two levels back! What annoys me even more is the fact that it took Nexon a while to acknowlege the fact that there was a problem!
Well, let's hope they fix it soon!

Dear Users,
Due to some technical errors MapleStory went through multiple server checks today. Nexon is aware of the technical difficulties that are currently affecting the game. We are looking into these problems and will try to fix them very shortly. We are very sorry for any inconveniences these issues may have caused and thank you for your patience.

| Yes, they put that "Notice" 2-3 hours later. Rather than calming the situation they waited that long! It's rather unprofessional of the company! Sigh

| Here's a NOTICE from Nexon:
Hello All,
As many of you are aware we have had some technical issues that have been causing various issues for a select group of our players. We have tried to resolve this issue in the best way we can, unfortunately there is no perfect scenario. The 'rollback' that many players have experienced cannot be fixed, however the issues causing those rollbacks can.
We have a resolution to these issues now and we will be offering compensation to those who have been affected by this issue. While we will not be able to fully replace the items and time that may have been lost as a result of the rollback, we are offering not only Maple Points for items lost, but we will be awarding with 2x exp cards to our affected players as well as a 2x exp/drop event through Sunday night!
We offer our most sincere apologies for this error and we believe that the following will help all those who have been affected by the rollback.
Below are the items that will be compensated FOR AFFECTED PLAYERS:
- Extend expiration date for 2x EXP Cards, 2x Drop Cards, Store Permits, and Hired Merchant items (if expired, we will give Maple Points)
- Award Maple Points for used Owl of Minerva, Safety Charm, and VIP Teleport Rock items
- Award Maple Points for used gachapon tickets that resulted in lost ETC items
- iTCG items will be replaced to players via Delivery System
- We will fix marriage statuses for affected couples.
- Players who lost EXP and mesos due to roll back will be given 2x EXP cards (all day – 4 day ticket)
Things that will be fixed today:
- Expiration dates will be extended
- iTCG items will be sent via Delivery System
- Marriage statuses will be fixed
- 2x EXP Cards will be given out
- Trade/Block/Ranking will be fixed
We are currently still evaluating player losses by cash items. We hope to systematically find the affected players and award Maple Points next Wednesday, November 28th, during Server Check
We offer our sincere apologies to all of our players for the instability in the service over the past week. We hope all of you can understand that we are doing our very best to rectify the situation so that you can enjoy MapleStory over the holidays. To kick things off again on a positive note, we will be running a Double EXP and Drop event for ALL of our players from Wednesday through Sunday 8 am to 8 pm (Today?s double EXP and Drop event will start after the Server Check). For those affected players that lost time due to the rollback, this will mean FOUR TIMES OR QUADRUPLE EXP throughout the event.

i am so freakin fed up with all of this. I had the whole day off yesterday and we got to leave early today, but because of these server checks, Im not only losing time to lvl, find pies, etc., but i have Basil Deals to attend to. Does anyone know when we'll be up and running? There is no Notice at Nexon.net regarding this question... UGH! so mad.. | |
