| Hi, I'm Trevor. I'm a 24 year old "maple dinosaur", and my main ign is DecemberVII and I am formerly of the Crisis and Myst guilds. My interests include Biology (environmental) which was my undergrad major and hopefully my grad school focus, and also long walks on the beach (almost scuba certified) and candle-lit dinners (I like to cook). I like all kinds of music but I listen to electronic/dance and indie rock the most. In my spare time, I work on and build computers and go to see rock shows downtown (Cleveland). In my earlier days, and far less frequently now I was known for being a 'big personality' at parties, as well as bringing as much 'partying material' as possible. Questions? Comments? Shoot! | |

| -bats eyes- I like you already! I'm a fellow environmental enthusiast. I'll be persuing ecology and environmental science during grad school... hopefully sooner than later. Perhaps we should sit down and have a virtual cup of green tea and chat. | |

Perhaps we should sit down and have a virtual cup of green tea and chat. I can totally dig "sooner than later". I worked as a chemist for ~8 months after I got my BS, and then I took a year off. Now, I can't wait to start doing something productive again. To go into greater detail, I'd like to pursue botany or entomology in grad school, but with environmental focuses. In undergad, I did my exit seminar on the possible ways to control the emerald ash borer. A great chunk of that talk was on plant/EAB interactions. So although I won't be in any "environmental science" programs, my interests lie in how plants and insects interact with the environment around them, and what sort of impact those interactions have. I also like to garden year 'round. I'd be happy to share any kind of tea with you. I don't think I've ever met a tea that I didn't like, aside from some crazy stuff like "pomegranite apple" or something else too fruited up. I usually drink black tea, maybe with some sugar.

| How funny! After I got my BS I worked for 8 months in an aging and longevity lab... Poking mice just wasn't my thing. I prefer being outside getting dirty. Bugs are awesome, I got to work a few months with bugs at the zoo in our presentation department! I'll always have a love for tarantulas after that. But my true calling are birds... Most of my research and volunteer work has been with migratory birds and invasive species here with Texas Parks and Wildlife and various other nature centers here in San Antonio. I hope to one day work with U.S. Fish and Wildlife or the EPA... someone fix the economy please -sips on green tea- Dan, can we keep him <3 | |

I hope to one day work with U.S. Fish and Wildlife or the EPA... someone fix the economy please -sips on green tea- Dan, can we keep him <3 I feel the same way about being outside. I worked on corrosion resistent metal coatings, and although I learned a lot, it wasn't destined to be my calling. I did work for the board of health and since I was always going from A to B and inspecting stuff (dumps for everything, properties for rats) and I got to use GIS, I liked that job much more. You would probably like US F&W more than the EPA. I had to fill out EPA paperwork when inspecting dumps, and it seemed to me like the EPA was all about the beaurocracy. I know people that work in parks and bodies similar to the US F&W, and they love it. side notes: Yeah, the econ keeps people like you and I from getting jobs because people with 5 years more experience are now working for our "into-salary". Also I don't like birds very much, except for corvids. Hearing crows caw in the morning makes me smile. I do think crows/ravens/magpies are very cool. Bird flu still exists in Ohio and it is still affecting the crows, although not very much anymore. I read a few months ago that crows finally left Tehran, Iran because of the pollution. They were the last birds to leave.
