| I'm not trying to derail this thread, insult anyone, or anything even remotely related to that. I'm just curious. What exactly is disputing what Nexon expects, wants, can or cannot do, will or will not do, or ANYTHING like that going to do? We're not taking up the complaints with Nexon, and none of us works for Nexon, so we can't have the real answers straight from the company to end the questioning as to what Nexon wants, etc. I'm just wondering how talking all this out is going to help anyone. Please don't be offended by anything above. As I said, I'm merely curious. I'm not taking one side or the other because I'm hardly knowledgeable enough to do so. | |

The reason I'm doing this is to be me. I LOVE to argue/debate. I thrive from it. I do it for the lawlz. D: As you said, this game is marketed for Teens. Teens are nor adult or child. Thus, they have developed most of their common sense. Especially for those that play online games.(I hope) These games require logic. Well, you can certainly play it without much logic but it wont do you much good.

It never says in the TOS you can't have multiple accounts. o.o If it does I require the paragraph number. I've read it - it's not there. But seriously Nexon needs to re-think their policy about what they tell people. The won't tell people what a glitch or hack or w/e is because they are afraid if they say it that more poeple will abuse it. But really we can't know what they are randomly banning for when they say "abusing glitches" or "power leveling." I asked five friends what they thought power leveling was and I got 5 answers, and not one was the answer I had. -_- All I wanna know is that if I party a non-contributer and use genesis if Nexon considers that power leveling. Or if I give my lvl 50 noob sin 2x, apq baskets, and apples and take her to wolf spiders for godely exp, is that power leveling? But no bans for me yet (not on any of my 15+ suspicious accounts), so whatever I'm doing it must be moderate enough not to warrant bans.

| Lol same dave. I do know that many games disprove of multi accounts but i dont think ms is one of them. Idk i could be wrong on that.
@ lily : I have always thought of power leveling as leeching off ur gen, but that is when i am playing my account. I think the bannable offense is if you send ur info to a service that levels your character for you. Other than that you are just playing the game and cannot be punished for it.
Again, nexon needs to be MUCH clearer on what they consider bannable.
BTW: i argue for the same reason as tany. Am i any good at it? im thinking of joining the debate team at school.

I read it again and it doesn't say anything about multi accounting. Stephen, jew sucks @ argueng u shuld gib up!kkthxbai Your defination of power leveling doesn't seem to fit with the TOS statement (at least in my opinion) becuse it's not any sort of exploit. Neither party gains anything except in game benefits. Here's my defination of power leveling: Purchasing with real money (not in game currency) from a company or person that either loggs into your charactor and trains it for exp - or uses a party to give experience to your charactor while they are afk. And when power leveling services were common this was usually accomplished by either hackers in the party or they logged into your account and hacked with it to gain exp. Yet so far no one has given me a defination similar to mine when I asked them for one. o.o Oh and I posted here because I like arguing/debating and also it's a way to vent since Nexon probably doesn't care. (They've been providing unclear statements since the beginning of time, why change now?) Also I wanted to see why someone thought multiple accounts was against the TOS when it's not mentioned at all in the TOS. (And it's because the poor guy is gullible and believed his friend who also didn't read the TOS.....) Wait gullible isn't in the dictionary!

| Honestly thats what I was thinking it is... (but now you said your definition and i don't have the opertunity to say that)
Look at all those advertisers advertising "Power Leveling". I think it isn't about how fast you level or how but mearly Paying someone else real money to Level your character effective or not. Specifically those power leveling companys.

| Can they tell that your char was leveled by those ppl from mesos company? If they do, why they still let those messo farming company account exist? If I was Nexon, I just freeze those account. Or another way to do it is pretend to be a buyer and just ban those Accounts from the mesos companies. I agree with the power level definition, however look at Nexon, there is so many holes that they ignore to patch. Leave us puzzled. |

| Lol, I found this link on Bella: http://www.bellardia.com/forum/showthread.php?t=29812 This to tell ppl that Nexon doesnt care to make thing clear for players. If you try any thing new, there will always be a change of getting banned without knowing it. Now everything is banable. |

| Man, that's just sad. I can see the Bishop population dropping now, since they can no longer take leechers to Skelies to pay for pots. I had plans to take my own leechers one day. Honesly, this seems like total BS to me. What's the main draw point to an online game? The community. Training with your friends, questing and having a fun time. Now, they take the biggest component from that away. If I bring a new friend to Maple, I have to essentially kick him to the curb then tell him to fend for himself. Why don't they just ban 2x, and Holy Symbol? Oh, can't forget heal. Yep, I'm not allowed to train with Heal anymore. I can only use Heal when in a party, because if I train alone with it, I don't need pots. This SERIOUSLY ticks me off. While Nexon bans innocent players, we've still got hackers, scammers and advertisers running rampant. I've seen Nexon seriously screw the players a lot in these past two plus years but come on! Banning players for training a lower level in a high level area. Get your hands out of my freakin' pie, and mind your own buisness. | |

Paragraph 2.2: Code of Conduct is about how the players should behave. Hence, it being named "Code of conduct." Thus, "power leveling" is a no no. I like my definition of power leveling. It practically covers most of the in game possibilities of power leveling. Excluding those meso farming entities. That link that Kat posted also sums it up. The only flaw is that Nexon has never defined what a "lower level character" is. Is it 5, 10, 20, 50 levels? Or maybe it doesn't matter? How low is too low? No, we aren't playing limbo. I think if you get banned for training someone at newties you could, or at least I could, put up a good argument against why it was "unfair" or "uncalled" for. I think that power leveling just counts for extremely abnormal cases. Ex. - Annonymous person #1 wrote:
