| Last night I helped Pauline to get Res. Skill Book and now she has Resurrection. Next step she will need to do Horn Tail Quest to get Genesis. Tom already offered to help Pauline, but I will try to gather our guildmates to make thing easier for Tom. Here is what we need: Members: 5- 4th jobbers with Pauline. Materials: We will need 6 of every thing I listed below since we need 6 members in a party: - 10 Dragon Skin from Wyverns <---I think these are not tradeable either. - 3 Steel Plates. Yeah I have alot of these but we still need more. So donate plz. - 5 Mithrill Plates. Please we need alot of this since we need 30 plates for all 6 members that is 300 Mithrill ORES. Notes: we need more materials than this, however the rest are not tradeable. Here is the step by step of this Horn tail quest. Please let me know if there is an error since I got this off from PlayPark. - Spoiler:

HornTail Pre-Quest
1. Everyone should have the 5 items for the Secret of Medicine Transformation Quest.
2. Bishops will door their Parties up to the Entrance to the Cave of Life as soon as possible.
3. When everyone is ready we will enter the Cave of Life.
4. A briefing will then be conducted.
HornTail Party Quest : Pre-Quest
1. Parties will complete the Party Quest one at a time. We will meet at the end of the Party Quest.
2. Each Party is to take the shortest time possible (don't waste time killing more than what you need).
HornTail Party Quest : Stage 1
1. Upon entering the map, kill the Cornians to obtain Keys.
2. Appoint 1 Member to wait outside, he or she must not have possesion of a Key (this Member cannot be the Party Leader).
3. Other Members with the Key will proceed into the Portal at the top Left corner.
HornTail Party Quest : Stage 2, 3 and 4
1. 1 Member will complete the Jump Quest to get to the other end.
2. Other Members will jump down to kill the Monsters and obtain a Key, then complete the Jump Quest.
3. The Key must be dropped at the Shining Spot next to the Portal, it will then be sent to the first map.
4. The Member who was left at Stage 1 Step 2 must now retrieve the Key from the tree in the middle and talk to the NPC found directly below.
*Repeat this for Stages 2, 3 and 4.
HornTail Party Quest : Stage 5
1. 1 Member will complete the Jump Quest to get to the other end.
2. Other Members will jump down to kill the Monsters and obtain a Key, then complete the Jump Quest.
3. The Key must be passed to the Party Leader, and he/she will proceed through the Portal.
HornTail Party Quest : Stage 6
1. By talking to the "HornTail's Schedule" NPC, all Members will be teleported to the "Cave of Choice" Map.
2. The Party Leader must hit the globe from either the left or the right direction, then proceed into the Portal.
3. Depending on which side you strike, you will be sent to either "The Cave of Light" or "The Cave of Darkness".
HornTail Party Quest : Stage 7
1. In either "The Cave of Light" or "The Cave of Darkness", kill the Monsters to obtain 6 Keys.
2. All 6 Keys must be passed to the Party Leader.
3. The Party Leader will then climb over the high wall and talk to the NPC.
4. All Members will then kill the remaining Monsters.
5. When all the Monsters are killed, the Party Leader will talk to the NPC.
6. You will then be teleported to the Entrance to HornTail Map.
7. Wait there till other Parties have completed the Quest

| If anyone know, I have this question for you: Do all of us need to kill all 6 Manons to get 6 Manon Crys or we just need to be in party and kill 1 Manon ? If we need to kill 6 Manons then we might have to delay this quest since its weekend and very hard to find Manon. |

| The items you need are:
1 Manon cry ---> Kill manon in groups of 3 since it drops 3 at a time UNTRADEABLE
1 Steel plate ---> Refine 10 steel ores in Perion. TRADEABLE
1 Mithril plate ---> Refine 10 mithril ores in Perion. TRADEABLE
10 Dragon scales ---> Kill Red Wyverns (they drop them faster) UNTRADEBLE
1 Cornian shoulder-thingie =P ---> Kill Dark Cornians. TRADEABLE
1 Crystal-thingie ---> Kill Dark or Green Cornians. UNTRADEABLE
1 Rusty Dagger ---> Kill Dark or Green Cornians. UNTRADEABLE
Then you go and talk in LEAFRE to the guy that refines the lvl 110 dragon weapons, and he will refine your old dagger into a new one.
It will appear the quest completed red thing at the bottom, and now you have to keep the items untill you wanna go to HT PQ.
That's it.
As for helping Pau, i'm sorry i couldn't log in today, but tomorrow (sun 06), i'm going to HT with the bello squad at midday, so after that, i can stay inside the cave and help her when u get the rest of the people. |
