What was the noobiest thing you did?
How did your first character come out?


The noobiest thing i did was put all my points in hp because i thought i would be strong.

My first chacter had all stats together

Stats:

Str: 20
Dex:20
Luk:20
Int:20

i thought i had to be lucky, strong and smart to survive maplestory......and i didnt know what dex was.

I tried to make my character the most like me.
I said to myself: very smart, very athletic (DEX), not very strong (lolol), and I had no clue about LUK.
I wanted to be a bowman, but my friend told me warriors were the best. So I put 30 STR but changed my mind.
I became a magician. Then I quit. Then I did the same w/my next char. T.T

i distributed the APs evenly too on my very first char attempt lol

I did the same thing with distributing the AP evenly I had like 15 in each and put like 5 into hp and mp as well

Also I didn't have enough STR for my war at lv 10 so I stayed on Ms Island till lv 12 when I did have enough

Then I didn't advance him till lv 31 or 32 cause of some reason I don't remember now..but it was extremely noob XD

i became a dit, and soon found out that was fail because i put STR ...

My first char whas a warrior, sounded fun i thought. I have no idea why but i just putted all on Luk / Int and Str, the only thing i knew whas that warriors needed Str and that Dex whas for bowmens. And about the Luk and Int, i just thought that it would be good if i have some of that to. When i whas lvl 26 with him, i had 22 luk, 22 int and like 50 str and 5 dex or something. I missed like every monster lol.

yeah... I distirbuted aps evenly too lol... so I have 10luk and 10int... I thought i was being smart that way. :smiley48:

I restarted after realizing I did it wrong, Then i did it wrong again. I think I had 10int and 10luk. (since been reset)
And my current character didn't make archer until lvl 12.

The most newbie thing I did was when Leah and I decided to go to orbis for the first time. I'd heard about the balrog so we were afraid to ride the ship. Once the ship took off we both started hiding in the coner till a higher lvl asked us what we were doing. I was like "i don't want to die" and he replied "Why don't you just go in the cabin?" And we were both like "Uhh what Cabin?"

Hmm...When I first made a character, I wanted to be a warrior. I evenly distributed my AP to all of my stats, alternating my HP and MP every level. After I got to Lith, I took the VIP Taxi to the 24 Hour Store and promptly died. Then, when I couldn't get out of Sleepywood, I decided to delete my character and restart. I made the same character--same name, same look....same stats--and when I finally got to Perion (I walked. I didn't know about the Taxi in Lith and I didn't have the money to ride it in Kirning because I spent it all on Red Potions....>.<) I talked to Dances with Balrogs, and learned the hard way that I needed to have 35 strength to make Warrior...so I deleted it and restarted AGAIN with all of my points in strength...and then just a few in Dex when I started to miss monsters. I made warrior, made it to level 21, and then promptly quit...=/

I came back later as Psaira, my assassin, for those that remember.

I never used the taxi till my mid 20s, (maybe 2nd job) I figured If i walked there I would level faster killing the monsters on the way.

The character I have now has 17 luk and 10 int. I don't know why I still use him but at least I only lose 5% when I die lol

when i was lv 7x i bought 22int overall and it turned out to be made for females only -_-.

I made a sin and i pumped my AP in int and str because i thought my character should be smart and strong... and another thing i thought is that i could only recharge stars in the kerning store so I always walked from Henny - Kerning.

I Remember thinking the only way to get arrows (other than drops) was to trade a feather and a processed board to the NPC by the FM in henesys.

My first bowman had 18 luck and 19 int and i played it till it was lvl 30 :smiley31:
My second bowman was as strong as the first when it was lvl 21, and that is still my main till now

LOL Jeremy made my character for me so i didnt phail at all :D
but i do remember being scared of the snails
and Jeremy was like "if you're scared of that wait until you see the other monsters" xD

I used to hate orange musrooms cause I died the first time

I had a lot of help in making my first character, so I got everything right =D

I met a real good friend when I was around lvl 20 and she told me everything she knew about maplestory.
The fun part was, that after we knew each other we accidentally found out the we where both dutch (we where talking english all the time before) That was realy funny :)
But like a half year ago she started to play in europe cause she had alot of friends there
I still got her MSN though
