This movie is based on Jane Austen's life. The character of Thomas Lefroy is the inspiration for MR. DARCY's character in Pride and Prejudice. If any of you knows as well, you'd know that we are HUGE Jane Austen fanatics.
Thomas Lefroy is played by James McAvoy *sigh* and Jane Austen is played by Anne Hathaway.

This movie by the way is a BONAFIDE "CHICK FLICK".
Even though I knew the ending to this story...I still cried...T.T

I think every guy should watch chick-flicks. I personally am a big fan of books and movies targeted towards women, and I believe that if more men watched them, they'd find them quite enjoyable.
