Macros

With the inclusion of Skill Macros (Which I think are awsome), I say we post our Macros here, so we can share them, and possibly come up with some good combinations, or help each other come up with effective sets. Just to let everyone know, you can't macro movement skills, like Teleport.

Grand Bless: Bless+Invincible+Holy Symbol
Grand Light: Shining Ray+Shining Ray+Heal
Divine Heal: Heal+Heal+Dispel

My Macro is as follows...I don't have many skills, so it's pretty simple.

Buffs: Power Guard + BW Booster

Um...yeah, that's it....>_>

I made that siggy last night during the event, and it's pretty accurate to how I was feeling.

You need to work on that name, it's BOOOOOOOORING.

I don't shout my macros, so I don't care what I name them. The only macro I shout is when I get my pig mount...I shout "PIGGY!!! =D"

Wow, that is the perfect combo for bosses like Zakum! One button to press instead of pressing the 3, leaving you free to keep an eye on status effects like Seal and your own HP/MP. Great job with that Macro!!!

What is the Macro skill? I didnt check it out so Im not sure. Is that you can set mutilple skill in 1 key, so you only need to press 1 key to activate all those skills? If its true then its awesome, cuz you can activate all your skill so quick when you got Dispell. Confirm for me plz.

Yes Kat, you put up to 3 skills per macro, and it activates each one one at a time at the press of a button. Movement cancels the macro wherever it's at, so that can let you stop using buffs to avoid damage, etc.

I have 6 PCs need to update the patch so I cant get on the game right now. Please clear this for me: Can you set more than 1 Macro set? If i have Haste, Boost and ShadowPartner as 1 set, do i need to press 3 times or just 1 time to activate all of them? What do you mean Movement cancel Macro?

You would just have to press the key one time to activate all your skill on that one key!

And I believe you can set up up to six macros; I only saw three, but some have said you can scroll down to find three more.

There are six, though I've only ever used 2 with my Bowmaster in Tespia. I really don't see much use for having 6 unless you want to have the same skills, but in a different order.

In the macro window each spot has a number on it, representing the order the skills will be used. For my Grand Bless skill, I have HS last because it takes the longest to cast, and has the longest freeze animation after.

I've actually replaced my Invincible, Bless and Holy Symbol hotkeys with Grand Bless, freeing up 2 of my keys for other things. My heal is now Grand heal, freeing up my dispel key, since if I'm sealed, it bypasses heal and goes straight to Dispel. Shining Ray is now replaced with grand light, so when I'm training I heal automaticly every second, or if I'm in a rush, I can cancel the macro at any time. This is a good system.
