Virus with aeons site??

I just closed the Aeons site and it started poping up copies of the site repetedly. It was at 42 copies when I logged out.

Has anyone else had this problem? I have never seen this before.

I am 99% sure it is not from this site.
Please do a virus scan on your computer and check for spyware/adware. Hope everything turns out alright.

I am almost posative it is not our computer. It is less than a month old and had no opportunities to get a virus. Either it was a weird fluke or one of us is very wrong XD

This is paid site...we paid for it. There is no add, pop-up or any type of Adware, Spywares or Virus. Did you clean your cache and reboot your PC to see if its fixed?

Right after it happened i logged out then logged back in again and tried to make the thing happen with first other sites then the Aeons site. It didn't happen again so i decided to post this to see if it was a fluke or if others had the same problem. If you paid for the site then i assume that the problem wasn't at your end, and as i am pretty sure my comp is fine, I guess it was just a fluke. Weird. Thanks anyway.

acctualy this has been happening to me. but i can also say that it only happens occasionaly and that ive recently had problems with adware and viruses received from else where, those are gone, but now when i scan i keep finding tracking cookies.

Most probaly cause u say no oppertunity to gert a virus.
Evil cookies. They can explain your browser screwing up.

Browser cookies are only text files. They can not be programs, plugins, or viruses and no code can run from a cookie. Webpages uses cookies to remember things a user has done with a specific site. For instance a setting you have selected or a users name. So when you return to the site later it can remember it.

Basicly there only varables stored on your computer. Cookies can alter a way a page is displayed if the webmaster chooses to do so but it cannot effect your computer or the preformance of your browser.

Sometime New computer freeze when proccessing to much stuff. So im guessing u might have click the aeon site one two many times? My computer does that sometimes thats because im either running to much things at once or the internet connection might be lagging...(internet host is fixing something, like dsl or cable.)
