Maple Items 2008

Anyone wanna help me kill Tauros? o_O

I got a Maple Belzet from an Orange Mushie in HHG.

And from what I heard after a cake was killed in NLC....the umbrella that drops is untradeable.

it seems only lower level monsters drop them... i haven't come across a report of a dreamy ghost dropping a maple weapon... have you?

The Maple Umbella is a level 30 1h sword, one-of-a-kind, untradeable. It gives +12 - +15 speed I believe, and has about the same attack as a red whip.

I can probably help you when I get thru with my other characters. I upgraded 4 Helms last night and have about 10 characters on Mainland and another 10 characters on Maple Island
Remember that particular quest to kill Tauros is only for the lvl70 upgrade, if you are upgrading a Maple Hat for a lvl30-69 character then all you have to kill is 50 Curse Eyes & 50 Evil Eyes to receive the lvl30 Maple Hat. If you are upgrading for a character below level 30 then there is different quest for the lvl10? Maple Hat.

Oh, so you need a Maple Hat to do the quest? I haven't logged on yet since the patch, so I don't know what quests there are. I don't even have a Maple Hat of any level...T_T

It is true that any monster that drops Maple weapons will drop all of them. Someone I know got a 64 spear at bubblings while I got a maple wand and a maple lama there early in the day. At the anniversary cakes, I got a wisdom staff and Jeff got an umbrella and and spear. I haven't heard anything about the shields or the earrings though.

I trained in a bubbling map for 2 hours yesterday night and got nothing. Drop rate seems weird now after the SC.

I went to Bubblings and killed and killed and killed and got nothing.

I went to Fire Boars last night and even bought a 4hrs 2xDrop Card and GOT NOTHING....T.T

*sigh*

Spent about an hour at FoG and got 2 MS Items

Maple Dragon Axe
Maple Crossbow (Found just as Dave partied me)

I'll add more MS items I find at FoG as I find them

I got a
Maple Wisdom Staff,
and Maple Glory Sword.

But i traded those for a 4 above average Maple Dark Mate.

@Jeremy : The upgrade for the hat you currently got on DiscipleSin2 is available for 71+... Not 70+
Being lvl 70, I had to do the 50 Curse Eyes + 50 Evil Eyes quest for the lvl 30 hat... T_T

UGH, I'm VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY sorry for assuming the lvl 70 hat was for lvl70+.
I also had someone on Buddy List yesterday report the same thing. I feel like a jackass

Jeremy, are you by any chance trading that skanda? I don't have any Maple Items yet, but I do want it.

Those maple items look fun like the shield and mayb earrings
