MTS Merchanting

I was wanting some advice on how to be somewhat successful at merchanting in MTS. Mainly I am wanting to be able to make enough to cover the costs of our Hired Merchant, zhelm cover ups (transparent hat/rose/devil horns, etc), and our pet items (water of life/pouches, etc).

Most of the items last for 90s days (think the merchant is the only one that doesn't), so I'm not expecting to make tons of nexon in an extremely short amount of time.

If you are reasonably successful with MTS, please help and give some advice on how.
If you know certain items constantly do well in MTS (ie can be sold for over 1k+ nexon almost all the time), please let me know.
If you dont want to tell the world your secrets but are considerate enough to share with me :smiley41: , feel free to PM me!

Oh this might make it difficult... Please dont give suggestions that require spending hours upon hours searching through the FM. I do not have the time (or patience, or intrest) to do that.
If it something that can be done in less than 15 - 30 minutes a day/week in the FM (with out use of Owls), then go ahead and suggest it, but if it takes over an hour a day, everyday, dont bother.

they come at a price though

because nothing comes without effort. if you ain't willing to spend more time in FM/MTS i doubt you'll be able to cover your expenses at a competitive mesos/nx ratio. you'll run out of mesos sooner than you think.

I dont mind spending time in MTS, it is much easier to focus on what you are doing, unlike the FM. I can search for what I want to look at instead of walking through 22 rooms at who knows how many shops, which may still end up resulting in nothing. I simply dont have that time.

Some items are 1:5 ratio, some are 1:7. 1:5 is hard to get and required searching FM a lot before the night and in morning. 1:7 ratio items are much easier.

Let say if you spend 100m to gain 15K NX, would you do it?

Well, now that Rob has passed Serk 30, and I dont plan on buying Gen 30 any time soon. (700mil +, HAHAHAHAH yeah right, you can sit on your Gen 30 book and rot! F3)

Anywho....as I was saying, since we don't plan on any other major purchases atm, for once we might have some extra mesos to truly merchant a bit and not be just a seller. Which is why I am asking for some advice :D

Since they added the new tax, MTS merchanting will all but die anyway =/

Only for low end items, such as etc drops and stuff that sells for less than 1K NX. I think that is is cheaper for high end items though.. Suspect

Its cheaper for everything above 15k. Since 90% of people merchant things worth 1-3k, this will destroy most merchants

either way, it still pretty much ruins it for me, as I doubt I will have very few 15k+ items to MTS. I fall into that 90% range, average of 1-5k items was what I was looking to sell. Sad

This also ruins it for those of us that used MTS to buy decent equips (for me 10k or less). We now have a really sweet HP gear set from MTS, each one 2k or less.
